Specialties

Substance Abuse

Thinking about changing your relationship with substances? I’m happy to support you along the spectrum of change from questioning to long-term recovery. I believe you get to define your recovery goals whether that be harm reduction or sobriety.

Eating Disorders & Body Image

We live in a culture that constantly promotes dieting and fat-phobia. If you want a more peaceful and easy relationship with food or your body, counseling may help you explore the unhelpful beliefs and behaviors that get in the way. My eating disorder work is informed by the Health At Every Size (HAES) & Body Liberation frameworks.

Trauma

Trauma is more than a one-time event. It is the impact an experience (or multiple experiences) has on your wellness. Trauma causes disruptions to our cognitions, memory, body chemistry, relationships, expectations, and self-perception. I believe trauma can be transformed through therapeutic relationships thats support resilience and flexibility.
